Why not join the Pirton Business section?
I am seeking to offer much more support to local businesses or to businesses with "local" connections on the Pirton website. If you run or are involved in such a business. I would welcome the opportunity to add your business details. The sort of information I need is detailed below. Please join in if you can, it can't do any harm and you may find that it helps.

Contact name and confirm exactly what contact information that you want to appear i.e. telephone, fax, address, email, business hours? |

Supply a logo if you have one or letterhead (I will mimic it as the page header) - preferably by email or drop the best copy you have in to me |

Draft some text for me, which would tell your prospective customers the information that you want them to be aware of and preferably email it to me. |

Confirm a website address if you have one, so that I can link to it or if you want one see below |

If you have any, supply suitable photographs (makes the page more interesting) e.g. work done, items produced or for sale. Either in scanned format or lend them to me to scan |
The above does not all have to happen in one go, we can put basic information up then add to it later.
The format will be a directory with linked pages/websites. You would be able to, if you want to and don't already have a website, to use something like http://www.pirton.org.uk/joebloggs.htm on your letterheads/business cards if required - but check with me first to confirm availability. Anything else e.g. www.joebloggs.co.uk for a much more comprehensive website, would require a nominal sum of money to change hands to cover costs, but would mean that at some point in the future you could create or employ someone to create your own website.

If you know of any other local businesses that the website could support please let me know or get them to contact me. I also intend to throw the section open to include businesses "with strong links to Pirton or people in Pirton". So if you know of any that might be suitable please let me know.
