Searching for information of ancestors: Abbiss, Bunyan, Goldsmith, Hill, Jarvis, Primmett, Roberts, Shepherd/Sheppard, Stapleton, Throssell/Trussell and Weeden/Weeding/Weedon.Contact Details Please let the website have details of any new information you get for the benefit and encouragement of others. From: Chris Bowyer It’s at www.tribalpages.com/tribes/chrisbowyer (probably the easiest one for the casual visitor to browse around, but it doesn’t show the interesting bits like occupations and residences, nor sources)… www.gencircles.com/users/chrisbowyer is more complete but somewhat clumsier and more formal. Names from Pirton (with more than a few entries): Abbiss What we all discover when we start down this route is that practically everyone in Pirton and surrounds in the 19th century is related somehow. All we have to do is find out exactly how. If you’ve got handwritten trees it shouldn’t be too hard to type them into any decent genealogy program and produce a GED file which you can upload for free to one of these sites. If they’re not enormous I’d be happy to volunteer to do that if the owners don’t mind you sending me a copy. You never know, we might find some more links to ours. Cheers, Chris P.S. Thanks, just got your second mail…. I hadn’t noticed you have a Genealogy/History circulation list. Yes, add me please. If you can help in any way or would simply
like to get in touch, please email or write at the address above
