Dear Jonty,
Firstly I would like to say that your web site about Pirton is a very good starting point for researching family history from the village.
I am currently trying to find any living relatives to my family who originated from Pirton so that I may exchange information to expand my knowledge of my family history.
I am currently living in Henlow and my family originates from Hitchin and Pirton. I am hoping to find any information about the following people:
Thomas Trussell, I believe originates from Pirton. He married Susanna? The only child I know they had was Lois Trussell (also known as Louisa) born about 1842 in Pirton. She married Frederick Burton born 1838 (maybe in Pirton or Hitchin). They were married at Pirton Church. They had 7 children Elizabeth, Anne, Susan, George, Harry, William and Alice. Alice being my Gr.Grandmother.
I have a wealth of information about the 7 children but not a lot about the parents (Lois and Frederick) and grandparents (Thomas and Susannna) so if anyone knows of any information I would be happy to exchange it.
