My family are researching Goldsmiths and we are seeking more
information on Jeremiah Goldsmith who died at Pirton on 25 February 1838 aged
61. He was married to Ellen Goldsmith who died on 4 October 1844 at Pirton
aged 76. Helen (Ellen) Goldsmith appears on the 1841 census in the
workhouse at Pirton (aged 70, along with whom we think is her mother, Elizabeth
Dilley (aged 85). We also have a birth in 1782 for Jeremiah base born son of
Elizabeth Goldsmith.
Does anyone have any further information on these Goldsmiths?

With reference to your two E.mails last month in respect of the Burton and Goldsmith families, I have a Selina Goldsmith (born 1841) marrying a James Walker, and an Alfred Burton, David Burton and a Will. Burton all marrying Walkers, round about 1880. If your people need this information could they E.mail please.
