I was so excited to find your site!. Although I can't see an immediate link
with Pirton, you do have 3 names that I am researching in Hertfordshire.
HULL, WEEDON, WHITAMORE
I believe my G.G.G Grandfather James Hull married a Lucy Weedon in St Michael's,
St Albans in 1819. I am also interested to know whether Lucy had a sister called
Sarah as a Sarah Weedon married a John Butterfield ( another possible G.G.G
Grandfather of mine) in St Michael's in 1818.
According to an Aunt, one of the Hull's had a child called Whitamore Hull (or similar) possibly born mid 1800's but so far have been unsuccessful in tracing anyone of this name or in connecting the Whitamore and Hull families.
Maybe this will ring a bell with someone?
Other names of interest are BUTTERFIELD, BILLING, WATERLOW and ENGLAND - all of whom have connection to the Hull family.
