Dear Jonty, I have read your genealogy section.  I am searching for relatives of my gt. grandfather Jesse. He was born to the best of my believe in Pirton 1835 and married a Margaret Mann on  13th August, 1853.. The married in St Mary's Hitchin.  They had David, christened 8.3.1854, Mary Ann 14.11.55 and Sarah 30/12.57, all in Hitchin.  My grandfather Frederick William was born Royston 1868. Jesse was a gardener, I would be interested to know if there were other children etc.  If his parents cam from Pirton.
