Those That Died

 

We would like to ask for your help, if you have any information no matter how small or cuttings, photographs or artefacts that we could copy or photograph for any of the following:

bullet the remaining men yet to be included in a magazine article.
bullet any new information on those already published or following publication.
bullet the men who survived the war or,
bullet if you have any photographs of soldiers from that war who you believe may be related to Pirton, but don't know who they are

Pirton's WW1 Soldiers

The current research, by Derek Jarrett, Jonty Wild, Tony French & Chris Ryan, is aimed at recording the Pirton war dead from WW1 and the others that served. It has resulted in a surprising large number of names, some of which we no little about and some of which could be duplicates.

If you have any information on those that appear on the war memorial please get in touch with Derek Jarrett via the website, but if you are related to, have information on any of the names of those appearing below or can clarify any names etc, please contact Jonty Wild via jontywild@pirton.org.uk.
