Pirton Planning Applications
 |
 |
I would like to thank the Parish Council for supplying that
information to me over the last few years, I have really appreciated that
service.
The Parish Council now pay for professional development and
for the updating of their own website for our benefit, (this can be found at
www.pirtonparishcouncil.org -
Although I used to do this at no cost!) and as the planning applications,
decisions and Parish Council minutes will appear there, their view is that there
is no need for www.pirton.org.uk to
continue to offer these services - I was informed of this on August 27th 2008.
In respect of planning matters, my concern with the public
consultation process is that all too often interested parties often have only 2
or 3 weeks to respond, so I have always believed that emailing the information
to interested parties is a valuable service as the alternative, remembering to
look, is often forgotten. It is therefore my intention to find an alternative
means of continuing to provide this service to you.
I sincerely hope that when important issues come up that
affect the village, such as the recent "potential gypsy/traveller site", that
the Parish Council will continue to recognise the comprehensive service that
www.pirton.org.uk and the associated
email circulation list can provide and will continue to proactively provide that
information to me for your benefit.
For your information details of planning applications and
decisions can be found at
www.pirtonparishcouncil.org,
www.pirton.org.uk/planning and of course the NHDC website
http://www.north-herts.gov.uk/dcdataonline/Pages/acolnetcgi.gov (enter "pirton" in the "Search by Address Field" or
select "Hitchwood Offa and Hoo Ward" in the "Weekly List Search" then "Pirton"
in the "Parish Name" field).
Clearly the NHDC website will always be the most up to date
source of information.
The NHDC website now adds decisions to the actual planning
application, whereas they used to list these separately, this makes it more time
consuming for me to add that information and keep it up to date, but I will
endeavour to do this.

 |
"Certified Lawful Development"

view whether a full application needs to be made or when no application is
necessary but the house owner wants something in writing confirming that
alterations can be made without planning approval. |
