Most people feel that Pirton has just about had as much in-filling as it can take without losing it's character - substantiated by the excellent Village Appraisal undertaken by the Parish Council. You can influence whether development gets approved by taking an interest in the planning applications (see link above) and if you don't like them (and if you do!) make your feelings known by writing to the Local Authority! Where development is approved then you can influence how it is done by taking an interest in the Village Design Statement currently being undertaken. If you are one of those who is concerned about how Pirton develops don't be one of those who sits back and moans keep track of proposals by visiting the links above and making your feeling known, then you can make a difference.
