What's it all about . . . . ?
"HELPING PROTECT THE CHARACTER OF OUR VILLAGE"
What is it?
A brochure which defines the character of our village and provides planning
guidance
What will it mean to us all?
It will help maintain house values, define the distinctive character of the
village and contribute to conservation.
How does this happen?
A group of residents representing all views work together to produce the
statement in consultation with the village. It is then accepted by the Council.
How will it improve the village?
It will give guidance to all residents when making planning applications.
Who is it for?

Residents - to provide guidance for designing alterations and extensions in sympathy with the character of the village, and to enhance the value of village property |
