Pirton Village Design Statement

Phase one of the VDS was obviously deciding that Pirton needed a VDS and forming a working group of interested residents (as many as possible), and after meeting, talking, creating a constitution, opening a bank account and deciding on the best way forward - it was time for Phase 2.

Phase 2 was the Village Character Workshop.  Basically this is issuing an open invitation to get as many people to attend the day as possible.  The "make up" of our day is given below:

Everyone who commented enjoyed the day and many found it extremely interesting, perhaps for the first really looking at our Village and finding out what a beautiful, diverse location we live in.

Phase 3 has been for the working group to divide into groups, representing the various "key" section of the VDS and using the photographs and ideas produced in the Village Character Workshop, start working towards a first draft for the VDS.
